SOTD, June 9- Smuckers, Tyler, the Creator

“10 years down the line… Smuckers is going to be legendary.” This Friday’s SOTD is one that in my opinion will be a classic. The 11th song on this album, Tyler the Creator brings on two powerhouses in rap with Lil Wayne and Kanye West. Now this song is very simple but starts with a somewhat complex beat behind Kanye West’s old-school type verse. After we get a blast to the past in Kanye’s style the song start to become more heroic as the horns blow louder and Lil Wayne takes over. This song is powerful due to how effortlessly it fits together. It becomes almost a conversation between Wayne and Tyler, and it is just fun to listen to them both go off and have great verses.
